Weight: 6200 lbs with 50 lb tolerance

ENGINE:
1. Engines may be any small block type with factory OEM degree heads for the manufacturer used. Engines

must be classified as a small block from factory. Aftermarket blocks allowed, aluminum heads allowed for small blocks  No Chrysler Hemi style engine not allowed unless factory oem. Small Blocks can use dominator carburetors 

Big Block engines must use iron heads and 4150 type carburetors. All engines must be naturally aspirated.
2. LS engines permitted. Must be factory block and factory heads. Must have original casting numbers in place. must use factory fuel injection or may convert to single carb.

3. 440 cubic inch limit with a 2% tolerance for small blocks, 505 cubic inch for big blocks with a 2% allowance. (any BB engine over 477 ci must run factory oem block)

4. Engine must be in factory location. Radiator must be located in front of engine in stock location.

5. No dry sump oiling system allowed on Big Block engines

6. Heads may be aluminum for SB and cast iron for BB. Heads must accept a cast intake that is readily available to the public. No sheet metal intakes allowed.

7. No vaccumm pumps allowed on Big Block Engines

8. Only one carburetor allowed and it may be 4150 or 4500 flange for Small Block and 4150 for Big Blocks. Fuel may be pump gas or race fuel. Oxygenated fuel allowed. No alcohol, nitrous oxide, or nitrous accessories allowed on engine. (Plate, etc.)

CHASSIS

1. Any DOT approved tire will be allowed not to exceed 35x14.50 size or 315 metric. No cutting or grooving of tires allowed.

2. Must be 1 ton or lower drive train.

3. Drive shaft loops and universal shields required.

4. Blowproof bell housing required for manual transmission. A blanket or shield is required for automatic.

5. Wheel base must be factory specific for year and make. No altered wheel bases allowed.

6. Trucks will be limited to an extended cab with short bed. Wheel base limit of 144". weight bar can be max of 195' from center of rear to furtherest point of weight bar.

7. No fiberglass body parts with the exception of hood and tailgate.

8. All hitches must be safe, secure, and rigid in all directions. Max height of 24". No hydraulic hitches allowed. Hitches must be at least 27% of wheel base for small blocks and 36% for Big Blocks.  Trucks not running a weight bar or draw bar hitch may set hitch height at their own discretion and must not be shorter than 25% of wheel base and must be Reese style hitch. Hitch will be measured from center of rear axle to the hook point on hitch. 1" allowance on all measurements.

9. Hitches must be one solid draw bar from where it attaches on frame out to the hook point. No slide adjustments in and out permitted. Anyone caught cheating on draw bar length will forfeit points and winnings...its your responsibility to have the correct length per the rules. ( 1'' inch tolerance allowed )

10. Hanging weights will be allowed. Weight can not be more than 60" from the center of front axle to the further most point of weight. 1" allowance on measurements. and may not exceed 195'' from center of rear axle to front of weight bar.

11. Any loss of weights, excessive fluid, parts, etc. will be grounds for disqualification. Exemption if forward motion has stopped when breakage occurs.

12. If puller goes out of bounds that vehicle will be disqualified. Touching the white line is out of bounds.

13. Puller will be allowed a second attempt to start the sled if the pulling vehicle gives up on attempt before 75 ft. mark. (Vehicle can go further than 75 ft. but must be trying to stop.) (Unless in pull off)

14. A full pull is 320 ft. Anything past that will require a pull off unless stated otherwise by promoter.

15. Any interference from driver, crew on track, or scales is grounds for disqualification.

 

SAFETY

1. All drivers must wear a helmet and approved fire jacket.

2. Every pulling vehicle must be equipped with at least a 5lb fire extinguisher.

Vehicle must have a working kill switch with a 1" hole for hook point at the rear of truck. Must be within 3" of center of truck.
