The Points System Works as Follows:
POINTS PROCEDURE
- 1ST PLACE = 51 POINTS
-2ND PLACE = 48 POINTS
-3RD PLACE = 46 POINTS
-4TH PLACE = 44 POINTS
You will receive 10 show up points to any event that gets rained out. You have to be present at the pull with your pulling vehicle to qualify. (If the pull is cancelled 4 hours prior to start time, no one will receive points.)
If you come to a pull and have difficulty before the pull starts that keeps you from being able to attempt to pull, you will receive 10 show up points.
At the end of the year, if there is a tie in the points, they will be determined by the puller with the most wins. If they have the same amount of wins it will go to the puller with the most 2nds, and so on until a winner is determined.
Promoters must pay full purse for it to be a points pull.
PROTEST PROCEDURE
$500 PROTEST FEE
- If you want a truck checked, you must provide the money and a written request explaining the truck and the specific part you want protested.
- You can only protest someone that is in your class.
- If truck is deemed legal, the truck / person being protested keeps the protest fee.
PENALTY
1. Engine - If an engine is deemed illegal, the truck will be required to return any winnings from that event (money, trophy, etc.). The running order will be corrected and the winnings will be presented accordingly.
The puller / truck will loose all points accumulated to that point in the season, and will be barred from pulling competitively in any Mountain Boyz points event for one calendar year (365 days).
2. Chassis - If a trucks chassis is protested and deemed illegal, the truck will loose 75 points from its total and will need to prove repairs have been made to make truck legal before competing in a Mountain Boyz points event again.
